Dragon Touched Armour

Hi all,

Useful info on the Dragon Touched Armour from the Avenging Demons guild site.



Reaver's Refuge Crafting.


First off you need 50 Draconic Runes to buy Dragontouched Armor.

You have to have completed Stealer of Souls to spend Draconic Runes.

Extra info at the bottom of this post!


Where to get Draconic Runes:


1-3 from named chests in Aussircaex's Vally/Soami Gardens/Mount Reysalon.

50 for your end reward after you you beat Stealer of souls.

Then talk to Vorace, he's across from the stormreaver that gives you fly. By the mail box.

Vorace Sells the Dragontouched armor and runes to upgrade your armor.

Draconic Runes needed for trade:

50 = 1 Dragontouched armor.
40 = 1 Eldritch Rune.
80 = 1 Tempest Rune.
120 = 1 Sovereign Rune.


Where to Get Upgrade Runes:

Quest

1 Eldritch Runes - Enter the Kobold.
1-2 Eldritch Runes - Monastery of the Scorpion.
1 Tempest Runes - Prey on the Hunter.
1 Sovereign Rune - Stealer of Souls(must kill Sor'jek).

Melodic Guard (chance to dance on hit)

Smite (smite on melee attacks)
+4 Insight
+3 Dodge(Not stacking with Chattering Ring)

Once you get these runes you go the the place where Vorace is and there will be 3 alters, Eldritch, Tempest and Sovereign, then put your Dragontouched armor and the Rune in the proper alter and hit forge.
If you dont get what you want that first time just get another Rune and try again, you dont need new armor.

Runes are set once you get them, like if you some how get 2 of the same rune they will stack in your inventory.

I take it the dragon armour can be worn by Casters?

Yep their are several to choose from including a robe and an outfit.

I take it you can only have 1 rune applied to your armour?

You can have one of each rune applied to your armour,
So one Eldritch, Tempest and Sovereign.
Means you can get some really nice armour, or some real pants :-).

I tried sos last night with Rolando and got hammered I was more of a prob for the party than a help norm i use greatswords but im finding at hight levels my ac is just to low so going to try more with bastard or long swords. So does any kown whats the best effect on a sword for this quest ie crippling, vorp ? then ill go buy one and try again )

what happened, did you complete to get your armour and miss out on the Sovereign rune or wipe completely?

I guess it's a really tough quest then?

The party relised we had no chance early on so we all RCed, so im still flagged and can just re enter. Just want to be a bit more prepared for next try
Yes severn its tough with me in it anyhow .
Was thinking that SOS is not a easy quest for the average player whos not done before, not because of the quest but I noticed any lfms often say experianed players only. I guess if you mess up killing sorjak you need to rerun to get essances again. Does nothing to encorage friendly play .
Having said that ive noticed the new systems for farming stuff has kept a lot of the lets say faster players busy leaving it more common to find a mid leval pugs playing at a much more gentle pace.

So... Sounds like we need an Arcana SoS debacle ... run?
